Even though the stormy looking clouds threatened rain all morning long, it didn’t keep us from heading out to the Farmer’s Market on Saturday morning.  A lot of the local farms set up booths along Roanoke Street – for sale are anything from fruits and vegetables to soaps, butter, and flowers.  After perusing all the merchandise, we scored some herbs, some lettuce, a jar of homemade apple butter, and a mini tin of quiche.  As the weather gets warmer, I can’t wait to see what other goodies we’ll find.
